GWCL attorney Emily Stubblefield recently obtained a defense verdict in Roanoke City General District Court. Emily defended a local school board employee in a motor vehicle accident personal injury claim.  The plaintiff alleged that the employee did not have the right of way in an intersection and caused the accident. After investigating and analyzing the matter, no settlement offers were made as Emily believed the evidence supported the employee’s description of the accident. The Court ultimately agreed and rendered a judgment in our client’s favor.
