The City of Salem recently announced Jim Guynn will serve as Interim City Attorney following the retirement of long-time serving City Attorney Stephen Yost. “I am honored and humbled to receive the interim post,” says Jim. “I have enjoyed assisting the City of Salem on legal matters over the years, and as a Salem resident of 33 years, I look forward to serving the city in an increased capacity. While I realize I have big shoes to fill following Steve’s many years of dedication, I look forward to putting my local government experience to use for my community. In addition, I can rely on the expertise of my fellow GWCL attorneys as needed.” Jim will assume the Interim City Attorney position following Steve’s retirement at the end of this year.
